Road Tests are available by appointment only. Currently, we can only test in our vehicles due to sanitation requirements.  

Only tax Collector can isssue the license after the test." Please check with your local county to make an appointment" 

ATTENTION:  YOU MUST HAVE A VALID FLORIDA LEARNER'S LICENSE IN ORDER TO BE TESTED.  LEARNER'S LICENSES FROM OTHER COUNTRIES OR STATES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Thank you for selecting the Florida Safety Council for your Road Test. We strive to meet your testing needs in a friendly, professional and stress-free environment. We also offer the use of a fully insured and pre-inspected vehicle for testing at no additional cost.

Driving Test Requirements:

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must have held a learner's license for at least one year without any traffic convictions, and present parent or guardian certification that you have at least 50 hours of behind the wheel driving experience, of which 10 hours must be at night.
  • No one may accompany you and the examiner(s) during the driving test.
  • Only One Driving Test Per 24 Hours
  • All testers are subjected to random selection for re-examination at the DMV prior to issuance of any license.

Purpose:

For individuals of any age interested in completing their Class E Driving Skills test in order to obtain a Class E Driver License.

Goal:

To provide the Class E Driving Skills Test on astate approved, pre-determined route in a private and more convenient manner and to upload the score to the state DHSMV & Tax Collector offices. 

Preparation:

Teens applying for their full (Class E) operator's license will be required to:
  • hold a Florida learner's license for 12 months (You may not test with any other out of state license or a permit application from the Tax Collector's office)
  • not incur any traffic convictions
  • be certified by parent or guardian to have at least 50 hours of behind-the-wheel training, at least 10 of which must be at night.
  • Must bring a Parent/Guardian with them to sign the required consent form.
Adults applying for their full (Class E) operator's license will be required to:
  • Currently hold a valid Florida learner's license.  (You may not test with any other out of state license or a permit application from teh Tax Collector's office)
  • Use the Florida Safety Council testing vehicle, which is included in our testing price.  
  • Photo ID -  Valid passport, Alien registration card (green card), school ID
  • Secondary  ID -  SS card or know the number, State ID number, Green card number or I-94 number.
  • Test takers who are married, or have reached the age of 18 do not need a parent or Guardian present,but must present the required ID before taking the test. The I.D. requirements may be found at www.GatherGoGet.com.

The test is currently being given in English or Spanish; however, please bring a translator for any other languages!
